On July 20, golfers gathered at Firestone Country Club for the Ray Kapper Charity Golf Classic, First Tee – Greater Akron’s premier fundraising event. The day honored the legacy of Ray Kapper, whose commitment to youth development continues to inspire our mission, and celebrated this year’s scholarship recipient, Bohdan, whose story reflects the impact of golf-based character education in our community.
Beyond a day of great golf and fellowship, the event also marked the launch of our Game Changers Annual Giving Club, a new way for supporters to make a lasting impact on the young people we serve.
