2026 Spring Swing Classic presented by Acme Fresh Market

AKRON, Ohio (May 18, 2026) –First Tee – Greater Akron Hosts Spring Swing Classic at Mud Run Golf Course & Driving Range

The 2026 First Tee – Greater Akron Tournament Series Presented by Acme Fresh Market began on Sunday, May 17, with the Spring Swing Classic.

Hosted by First Tee – Greater Akron, the 9-hole tournament welcomed 45 participants competing across multiple age divisions. Boys and girls divisions were offered for several age groups ranging from 7-14+.

“Competitive play gives young golfers an opportunity to learn lessons that go far beyond the scorecard. Through competition, kids develop confidence, resilience, focus, and the ability to handle challenges in a positive way. Whether they win or lose, every round teaches them how to prepare, adapt, and grow. At First Tee – Greater Akron, we believe exposing junior golfers to competitive environments helps shape not only better players, but stronger, more confident young people both on and off the golf course”, said Mike Clark, Tournament Director and Program Director for First Tee – Greater Akron.

The next event in the First Tee – Greater Akron Tournament Series is scheduled for Sunday, June 28^th. This tournament is presented by Acme Fresh Market and will take place at Mud Run Golf Course & Driving Range.
