First Tee – Greater Akron Summer Shootout Presented by Acme Fresh Market Draws 50 Junior Golfers
On Sunday, June 28, First Tee – Greater Akron welcomed 50 participants to Mud Run Golf Course & Driving Range for the Summer Shootout presented by Acme Fresh Market. The event provided young golfers with the opportunity to experience friendly competition while putting into practice the golf skills and life skills they have developed through First Tee – Greater Akron programming.
Participants competed in age-based divisions, demonstrating sportsmanship and perseverance throughout the warm afternoon. The tournament also gave players the opportunity to experience competitive golf in a fun, encouraging environment while building friendships and confidence on the course.
